Valleywood is an ideal location at which to expose juniors to the game of golf. We invite the next generation of golfers to come out to the course and look forward to providing them a positive and comfortable setting in which to learn the lifelong game.
The course itself is approachable for young golfers, offering forward tees at just over 4,900 yards. Two practice greens offer ample area to work on their putting stroke and short game, and our practice range is available for those who want to work on particular parts of their game or who aren’t quite ready for a full round.
Junior Lessons and Summer Clinics
Group and private junior lessons are available from our pros offering both introductory lessons and sessions tailored to a specific aspect of the game. All junior lessons are taught by PGA and LPGA professionals. Lessons are offered individually or as a package in a clinic setting at various times throughout the season. From those juniors who are just getting started, to those ready for the next level of instruction, our pros will customize the lessons to meet the needs of each junior golfer. Youth on Course
Valleywood is a proud participating member of the national Youth on Course program. Juniors ages 6-18 can join Youth on Course for $30 annually and play at participating courses, including Valleywood, for $5 or less.
At Valleywood Youth on Course Members MUST play with a paid adult (21 or over), Youth on Course green fees are $3 for 9 holes and $5 for 18 holes throughout the week. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays Youth on Course members can play after 11am..
